DreamWorks Animation has appointed Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, part of DHX Media, to represent Felix the Cat and the publishing brand Where’s Wally? (Où est Charlie?) in France.

DreamWorks Animation is developing Felix the Cat, who was first introduced in the early years of television animation, into a contemporary fashion brand.

“We are delighted to be extending our relationship with DreamWorks Animation and will be work closely with the talented team to position Felix as a true fashion icon," says Marina Narishkin, managing director, CPLG France. "Where’s Wally? is a household name in France, although we know him as Où est Charlie?, and we will be nurturing his development into new and exciting areas.”

CPLG and DreamWorks Animation will unveil the initial strategy for Felix the Cat and Where’s Wally? during the Kazachok French licensing show, which will take place today and tomorrow in Paris.

CPLG France also represents DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Dragons and the newly released hit film Home
