Cloudco Entertainment and Universal Products & Experiences have announced a collaboration that merges the Care Bears with horror legends. The mash-up encompasses various categories, including apparel, accessories, stationery, home décor, collectibles, plush and health and beauty care.

The Care Bears x Universal Monsters collaboration features terrifyingly cute pairings like Grumpy Bear as Frankenstein’s Monster and Cheer Bear as The Bride of Frankenstein, bringing together the warmth of Care Bears with the mystique of Universal Monsters. The first drop is coming soon to specialty retailer, Hot Topic, with select items available now and more product drops planned through summer and fall.

“Partnering with Universal Products & Experiences to blend the endearing world of Care Bears with the legendary Universal Monsters is a delightful surprise for our fans,” says Robert Prinzo, head, licensing, Cloudco Entertainment. “We’re excited to unveil a distinctive collection that combines two worlds our fans never imagined would meet.”

The diverse range will include apparel and plush, health and beauty care, Loungefly bags and accessories and Funko Pop! figures.

Universal UNIVRS stores at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will offer an array of fashion apparel inspired by these mash-ups this fall.

Also, this fall, an expanded range of apparel, accessories and collectibles will be available at various retailers. Detailed pricing and additional retailer information will be announced closer to each respective launch date.
