Bulldog Licensing has signed another new Garfield licensee in the U.K.–Sambro will create a line of bags and stationery featuring the Paws, Inc. character.

The line will include backpacks, 3D backpacks, trolley bags, kids’ stationery and puzzles.

“Garfield is an absolutely fantastic property that benefits from huge brand awareness, so we are delighted to be developing this new range,” says comments Nikki Samuels, director, Sambro. “The products will really stand out on the shelf, and we are confident they will make a significant impact at retail.”

In other Garfield news across the pond, SocialIn and Paws, Inc. have teamed up to bring a Garfield clipart package to the photo editing and drawing app, “PicsArt Photo Studio.”

In the first licensed package for “PicsArt,” Garfield and his friends will be available to users for use in their creations.
