Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Burger King Worldwide have launched a new kids’ meal program in North and Latin America that features interactive The Simpsons toys.

Burger King kids’ meals are now featuring six stylized The Simpsons superhero toys that can be brought to life in an online game.

Through motion detection technology and a webcam, the toys serve as virtual joy sticks that interact with a digital game available at BKCrown.com where users can battle a range of villains in Springfield. Each character also features its own game environment.

“The Simpsons continues to innovate digitally whether through the increasing digital presence on Facebook or the Tapped Out mobile game, which has topped the Apple App Store charts around the world,” says Jeffrey Godsick, president, Fox Consumer Products. “For our latest program with Burger King, we are thrilled to leverage another component of digital technology, offering an added premium play value that is both immersive and engaging for the Burger King customer and the Simpsons fan base.”
