Missha Cosmetics to feature character in new campaign.

King Features has brokered a deal on behalf of its classic character brand Betty Boop that will bring the starlet to Korea to promote a range of cosmetics.

Through window posters, in-store signage and dedicated counter displays, Betty Boop will promote Missha Cosmetics' Magic Cushion range of foundation in more than 700 stores nationwide.

The deal will also give the first 10,000 people who buy the cosmetics a specially designed Betty Boop bag.

“This terrific promotion is part of our overall strategy to enhance Betty Boop’s brand awareness in Korea and throughout Asia,” says Cathleen Titus, vice president, international licensing, King Features. “We’re very pleased to partner with a great company like Missha.”

Missha is a Korea-based manufacturer of cosmetic products including skin and body care, hair care products, make-up, fragrance and more.
