Babar Celebrates Easter with Fabergé

The iconic elephant character Babar is taking part in the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt this month in New York City with a special egg sculpture designed by Babar author and illustrator Laurent De Brunhoff, as well as two tea time events at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, where the egg is located.

Presented in partnership with Nelvana Enterprises and the Clifford Ross Company, the Tea Time with Babar events on April 5 and April 12 will feature egg hunt-themed cookies, a drawing contest and photo opportunities with Babar himself.

The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is a fundraising initiative that will see more than 250 large egg sculptures designed by globally renowned artists, designers and creatives placed throughout New York City’s five boroughs from April 1-26.
