European entertainment company grows “Thea Sisters” brand awareness with gaming company.

Atlantyca Entertainment has expanded its partnership with Nintendo to feature Atlantyca’s “Thea Sisters” brand on a variety of themes for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems.

A collection of “Thea Sisters’” images, icons and backgrounds will now be incorporated within a range of personalized Nintendo 3DS home menu themes that will be available for Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and 2DS system owners.

The new deal also sees “Thea Sisters” themes expanding their reach to include all European economic areas, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. It also follows Atlantyca’s original partnership with Nintendo, which saw the creation of “Geronimo Stilton” themes for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems.

The “Thea Sisters” branded themes are now available through the Nintendo Theme Shop.

“Today’s children are all about their hand-held devices. As part of our consumer marketing efforts, Atlantyca is committed to raising brand awareness in the digital and interactive space, so this deal marks a very exciting time for us,” says Marco Piccinini, licensing manager, Atlantyca. “With more than 18 million copies sold to date, translations in more than 18 languages, ‘Thea’s Sisters’ popularity has grown extensively resulting in a greater evergreen fan base. We are honored to have Nintendo back as one of our leading partners and look forward to working with them again with these two wonderful children’s properties.”
