AGP Parties On in LatAm

With the new agreements, a range of Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears licensees in the region will create a full line of product that will include balloons, party goods and party décor.

“The Latin American market has a huge fan base for both Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears,” says Carla Silva, vice president, global licensing, AGP. “These partnerships will allow us to expand American Greetings core product to fans across the region to celebrate their special occasions.”

Festcolor will develop party goods for both Strawberry Shortcake (known as Moranguinho) and the Care Bears (known as Ursinhos Carinhosos) in Brazil; Regina Festas will make Moranguinho Baby party goods; Piffer will create foam rubber party goods; Argos is planning party goods for Strawberry Shortcake in Argentina where the character is known as Frutillita; and Comercial
