Burton, in collaboration with DJ, musician, producer and storyteller, Steve Aoki, is set to launch a limited-edition collection of co-designed snowboard gear and outerwear. The collaboration includes two snowboards, men’s and women’s Step On bindings and an outerwear kit that will first be available to Aoki’s collector communities on Feb. 3. On that day, Aoki will make a guest appearance at Burton’s Santa Monica store for a special meet-and-greet and autograph signing. On Feb. 4, members of the Burton First Chair loyalty program will gain access to the collection, followed by the public on Feb. 5.

As an avid snowboarder, Aoki’s relationship with Burton spans two decades and includes a popular luggage collaboration from 2017. After seeing vintage Burton snowboards auctioned as collector’s items, Aoki has always wanted to create products that avid riders and collectors like him would cherish and eventually pass on to future generations. This collection fulfills his vision, combining graphics from Aoki’s recently released graphic novel and manga series with Burton’s most innovative hardgoods and softgoods.

"I'm so excited about this collaboration with Burton,” says Aoki. “Snowboarding has been a huge part of my life, and working with a brand I've admired for so long is truly a dream come true. This is a celebration of my passion for the sport and the culture that surrounds it."

The two snowboards, Step On bindings and outerwear kit, reflect Aoki’s style, from the look to the individual product selection. Incorporating graphics from “HiROQUEST,” a graphic novel and manga series, the collection features the following:

  • Burton x Steve Aoki Free Thinker Snowboard: Aoki’s signature look on Danny Davis' go-to true-twin snowboard, built for hot laps in the park, pipe, or mobbing side hits across the mountain.

  • Burton x Steve Aoki SkipJack Snowboard: “HiROQUEST” graphics bring anime pop to this Burton Family Tree’s deep-snow, swallowtail surfboard-inspired shape.

  • Men’s Burton x Steve Aoki Step On Cartel X EST Bindings

  • Women’s Burton x Steve Aoki Step On Lexa X EST Bindings: Aoki’s colorway featuring Step On convenience and the pro-caliber control of Burton’s Cartel and Lexa X EST Step On bindings.

  • Burton x Steve Aoki Futuretrust 3L Jacket: Aoki’s take on weathering any conditions in 3L gender-neutral fit for all-day riding and comfort.

  • Burton x Steve Aoki Futuretrust 3L Pant: Steve Aoki styling on a storm-worthy 3L gender-neutral fit for all-day riding and comfort.
