BBC Worldwide and the Dubai-based airline Emirates are teaming up to bring the BBC’s flagship preschool channel CBeebies to Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system.
Beginning Nov. 1, the Middle East’s biggest airline will feature a bespoke CBeebies-branded channel showing a selection of preschool series including “Charlie and Lola” and “Nina and the Neurons.” The CBeebies channel on Emirates will also feature several titles developed by the BBC and BBC Worldwide for the international CBeebies television network, including “Andy’s Wild Adventures,” “Baby Jake” and “Mr. Bloom’s Nursery.”
This will be Emirates first branded channel targeting children ages six and under.
