Bulldog Licensing has signed an agreement with DreamWorks Animation to act as U.K. licensing agent for the studio’s next three major releases: this November’s Rise of the Guardians and 2013’s The Croods and Turbo.
Bulldog will promote all three properties across the licensing spectrum with major partners already confirmed including Fisher-Price and Mattel as master toy licensees for The Croods and Turbo respectively, and D3P developing interactive products for all three titles.
“To be working with a name like DreamWorks Animation is a huge privilege,” says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog. “The three movies are everything you would expect from DreamWorks, brilliantly creative, fun, entertaining and incredibly marketable. Every film they release presents a huge opportunity for the licensing community, and we look forward to working with them to maximize that potential in the U.K.”
Rise of the Guardians tells the story of a group of immortals that must join forces to protect the hopes and imagination of children all over the world from the evil spirit Pitch. Starring Alec Baldwin, Jude Law, Isla Fisher and Hugh Jackman, Rise of the Guardians will hit theaters Nov. 21.
The Croods, starring Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone and Cloris Leachman is set for release in March 2013. When their cave is destroyed, the Crood family must embark on an epic adventure into a pre-historic world in search of a new home.
Due for release in October 2013, Turbo is the story of a garden snail with an impossible dream: to win the Indy 500. When a freak accident gives him extraordinary speed, Turbo sets out to try to make this dream come true.
