Univision Offers Branded Healthcare Plan

Univision Communications and Televisa partnered with EC Benefit Plans and Careington International to launch the El Chavo Plan, a discount dental/vision care savings program.

Univision Communications and Televisa have partnered with EC Benefit Plans and Careington International to launch the El Chavo Plan, a new discount dental and vision care savings program inspired by the iconic Mexican character, El Chavo del Ocho.

“El Chavo inspired us all to assume responsibilities in the care of others through his touching humor, incredible kindness and down to earth persona,” says Maca Rotter, executive director, Televisa Consumer Products. “His name lives on through this brand as a staple of health and care deserved by every member of our community irrespective of their socio-economic status.”

The El Chavo Plan will offer discounts on most dental and eye care offered through a nationwide network of participating practitioners. Without limitations on care, forms to fill out or qualifications to access, members will be able to save 20 to 50 percent on dental care, and 5 to 30 percent on vision care.
