Outwear brand and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson form global partnership.
Under Armour has entered a long-term global partnership with actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for co-branded products and promotions.
As part of the new partnership, Johnson will work with Under Armour to create a range of products in the footwear, apparel and accessories categories. He will also support Under Armour’s Connected Fitness initiatives through promotion of the "HealthBox and Record" application.
The company will also develop products inspired by the films Johnson is currently working on. The first product capsule will feature a The Rock-inspired backpack and duffle bag, which will launch in the next several weeks and be available on UA.com and at select Brand Houses.
Additionally, Johnson will now help support and drive awareness around Under Armour’s philanthropic initiative–UA Freedom–which was developed to inspire, honor and support members of the U.S. Military, first responders and public safety officials.
