British charity teams for new products inspired by the Tower of London and more.
Historic Royal Palaces has signed two new licenses for 2016 that will bring famous British landmarks to puzzles and stationery.
History Royal Palaces is the independent charity that cares for the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle.
Ravensburger has produced a new line of three puzzles featuring famous elements from the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace including the Crown Jewels, the White Tower and Henry VIII's astronomical clock. The White Tower is also featured on a children's puzzle that also includes illustrations of the Royal Menagerie, a collection of exotic animals.
Meanwhile, Distinkt Cards has developed a range of stationary inspired by the organization's library of images. The first collection, which will launch in January, features designs inspired by the gilt-patterned ceiling of Cardinal Wolsey's apartments at the Hampton Court Palace as well as the palace's rose garden. The line ties into History Royal Palaces' celebrate of the gardens in 2016, which will see a number of events and exhibitions.
"We are very excited to be working with these two licensees," says Emma Saunders, retail business development manager, History Royal Palaces. "Both have been inspired by our palace collections to create commercial designs and products for today's market."
