The program, which is based on the Finnish national curriculum for kindergarten and was created in partnership with the University of Helsinki’s Cicero Learning Network, is designed to help children learn life skills in a fun way.

Rovio has also entered into a preliminary agreement with 123 Education Development in China to open learning facilities throughout the country featuring the system. The first 123 Early Childhood Learning Centre is planned for Shanghai.

Utilizing technology-enriched learning environments, the new educational system focuses on a range of skill sets in areas including language, math, music and arts and crafts.

“What if learning was fun? That was the question we asked ourselves when we started to develop this exciting new concept,” says Peter Vesterbacka, mighty eagle and chief marketing officer, Rovio. “Having seen the enthusiasm

when children and parents spend time with ‘Angry Birds,’ we wanted to create fun new learning activities for them.”

The program features a range of Angry Birds-themed learning materials including activity books, toys, physical games, educational posters, mobile math tools, reference books, a five-string instrument, game cards and physical activity games.
