The University of Oxford has partnered with the Portuguese toy company Science4you for co-branded science kits, in a three-year deal that was brokered by Performance Brands, the university’s agent in Europe and the U.K.

The kits, which will be available across Europe, will initially include a range of seven products such as Chemistry 1000, DNA Detective and Solar Car sets.

First products are expected to hit selves this fall, with additional sets planned over the next three years.

“Oxford’s rich history of scientific research and discovery provides a strong platform of relevance to support the proposed science kit range at retail,” says Hannah Aspey, head of brand and communications, Oxford Limited. “Science4you has already established a good track record of working with academic institutions in Portugal, and we look forward to an equally productive and successful relationship with them as an Oxford licensee.”
