The University of Oxford and its licensing agent Performance Brands will showcase the brand’s latest line of furniture in the Retail Lounge at Brand Licensing Europe this week.

The collection of furniture and accessories, which was developed by licensee Halo Asia under its Timothy Oulton brand, also made its debut at Harrods last week.

Inspired by the furnishings of Oxford's interiors and the sporting heritage of the university, items in the collection of more than 50 pieces of furniture, accessories and bags are named after famous benefactors and alumni of the university as well as aspects of student life at Oxford.

Oxford-branded furniture first launched in 2011. Following the success of initial lines, licensee Halo Asia upgraded the line to its premium brand Timothy Oulton in September 2012. Since then, Oxford furniture has launched in Timothy Oulton stores in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and, most recently, the U.K. (Harrods).

"Halo Asia has done a great job establishing Oxford in the interiors and home lifestyle category,” says Chris Evans, managing director, Oxford Limited, licensor for the University of Oxford. “We have worked with the their designers and visual merchandising team to create the quintessential Oxford look, paving the way for new licensees in complementary categories to join the Oxford program.??
