Margaritaville Holdings, the tropical lifestyle brand inspired by Jimmy Buffett, and Minto Communities have joined forces to develop active retirement communities throughout the U.S.

The first location, entitled Latitude Margaritaville, will aim to reflect the brand’s “no worries” attitude and will offer an immersive brand experience.

Current initiatives for the Latitude Margaritaville retirement community include walkable neighborhoods; a fitness center with an aerobic studio, indoor lap pool, spa and group fitness classes; indoor and outdoor dining with Margaritaville food and beverage concepts; arts and learning programs; and a resort pool area with beach entry.

Latitude Margaritaville has already broken ground in Daytona Beach, Fla., and is slated to open this fall.
