Chrysler Group and its agency The Licensing Company are preparing for the North American launch of the Jeep Xtreme Performance collection of outdoor apparel.

The JXP brand was introduced internationally earlier this year by licensee Beyond the Clouds, which has produced more than 170 individual apparel items and footwear for the performance brand.

An exclusive new collection of outdoor apparel and gear was unveiled to the North American market and outdoor retail trade in July.

The JXP line features a range of high performance apparel and gear across a variety of outdoor activities ranging from trail running to mountain biking.

Jeep has also tapped Matthew Lee, a team rider for Cannondale Bicycles, and Sarah Max, a Nordic skier, cyclist and multi-sport athlete, to help develop the new product line.

“I’m intrigued by the Jeep brand’s entry into authentic outdoor gear and apparel,” says Max. “From an athletic standpoint, it’s exciting to see Jeep extend its reach in the outdoor world by bringing gear, accessories and apparel to the market.”
