New apparel collection will feature symbols and silhouettes inspired by the car maker.

NORTH AMERICA–Honda has teamed up with retailer Forever 21 to develop an exclusive capsule collection of vintage-inspired racing gear.

Earthbound, Honda’s brand management agency, brokered the deal.

F21 x Honda draws from iconic Honda designs of the early 1980’s and action sportswear trends of the 1990’s. The line features modern silhouettes and fabrics across a range of men’s and women’s apparel styles including crop-tops, long sleeve t-shirts, skirts, pants and more.

“We are so excited to announce our partnership with Honda racing for this 80s- and 90s-inspired collection. We are always looking for new and unexpected partnerships–this collaboration with Honda racing is especially relevant now with the popularity of racing and motorsport designs,” says Linda Chang, vice president, marketing, Forever 21. “We hope that fans of both Honda racing and our customers will celebrate with us through this collection.”

To celebrate the launch, Forever 21 and Honda rolled out a robust marketing campaign that includes a billboard in New York’s Times Square, influencer takeovers on social media and a chance to win a photo shoot with Amanda Paige.

The F21 x Honda racing collection is now available in stores throughout North America and on Forever21.com
