Drake Automotive will also create branded tires specifically for the Jeep Wrangler and Ford F-150 vehicles.

NORTH AMERICA–Carroll Shelby Licensing has tapped the Drake Automotive Group to design, manufacture and sell wheels under the Carroll Shelby Wheel brand name.

Through the agreement, Drake will introduce five new tire designs, including one for the soon-to-be-launched and re-designed 2018 Ford Mustang. The company will also expand into the off road and truck categories with wheels designed specifically for the Jeep Wrangler and Ford F-150 vehicles.

The arrangement also includes patents around existing Carroll Shelby wheel designs, such as the CS-1, CS-40 and CS-70.

“Drake Automotive Group’s team is well position to help us continue growing the Carroll Shelby brand through this new program,” says M. Neil Cummings, chief executive officer, Carroll Shelby Licensing. “We’re excited to bring high performance wheels for late model vehicles back to the market with Carroll’s name on them.”
