Disguise has announced a partnership extension in the U.S. and expansion into Latin America (LatAm) to design, market, manufacture and distribute costumes, costume accessories, inflatables, adaptive costumes and trunk-or-treat kits for Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) characters and franchises commencing this year.

This new agreement encompasses several brands in the UP&E portfolio including Illumination’s “Despicable Me,” Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s “Jurassic World,” DreamWorks Animation’s “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Trolls,” as well as The Office, Where’s Waldo/Where’s Wally and Universal Monsters. Characters like Chucky will also be included in the Funko POP! mask line.

“Disguise has seen significant retail success for ‘Jurassic World,’ DreamWorks Animation’s ‘Trolls’ and Illumination’s ‘Minions,’ and we are excited to continue the collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences for this extension of brands and into new territories,” says Tara Cortner, president and general manager, Disguise. “We look forward to designing innovative costume and dress-up looks for these franchises in existing and emerging markets.”

Disguise’s costumes and accessories for UP&E’s characters and franchises will be available online, at major retailers and specialty stores this fall.
