Ninja will create branded outdoor gear and play tents for EMEA.
Discovery Consumer Products, the licensing arm of Discovery Communications, has partnered with U.K.-based The Ninja Corporation for an outdoor range of Discovery Adventures and Animal Planet products.
As part of the agreement, Ninja will develop a range of tents from entry-level, two-person camping tents to inflatable, four- to six-person high-performance tents. The range will also offer unique design features and a “glamping” theme for families.
The partnership will also introduce CleverBed, an all-in-one bed and sleeping bag that features Animal Planet branding.
The new range will be released across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (excluding South Africa and Israel) under the Discovery Adventures and Animal Planet brands.
The CleverBed will roll out at specialty stores this spring and will move into grocery, mail order, high street and online retailers this fall. The camping range will be available in spring 2017.
