U.K. racing track revs up licensing program with apparel, accessories and calendars.

Blonde Sheep Licensing has tapped two new licensees–BWI and Brown Trout–to create and distribute a range of heritage products inspired by the Silverstone brand.

First, BWI will launch a host of apparel items as well as accessories including phone cases, key rings, wallets and lanyards. The products will launch early next year in grocers, high-street retailers and department stores.

Meanwhile, Brown Trout will develop a range of calendars, which will launch in 2018.

The new merchandise collections will feature photographic images, past programs and memorabilia from the brand’s archive.

“We’re thrilled to be working with BWI and Brown Trout, who are leaders in their categories,” says Natasha Dyson, managing director, Blonde Sheep Licensing. “BWI really understood what we wanted to achieve and saw the potential for the Silverstone heritage range. The retail reaction has been amazing and BWI has worked very quickly to ensure we’ll have products launching early next year.”
