9 Story Brands and Fred Rogers Productions have announced a new partnership between lifestyle brand, Skip Hop, and the children’s animated series, “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.” This is Skip Hop’s first licensing deal and covers multiple product categories for the U.S. Rights granted, including children’s backpacks, non-pedal ride-on toys and children’s mealtime items such as snack cups and drink cups. Skip Hop released a 3-in-1 ride-on toy last November as its first Daniel Tiger SKU and has plans to launch a series of backpacks and several more mealtime items.

“We are excited to partner with Skip Hop, a powerhouse in the baby and toddler space,” says Kyra Halperin, co-vice president, consumer products, 9 Story. “Just like Daniel Tiger, Skip Hop leans into first experiences, and we can’t wait to see kids engage with their favorite tiger in new and meaningful ways.”

“Daniel Tiger and Skip Hop both celebrate the shared value of emerging preschool independence,” says Lauren Duchene, vice president and general manager, Skip Hop. “We are excited to partner with Daniel Tiger to help share beloved stories of Daniel and his friends through these special-edition everyday products made just the right size for toddlers.”

The new Skip Hop items will be available at Skiphop.com and Amazon, with select items offered at Carter’s. This marks the first time Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood products will be available at Carters.com, with the assortment also featuring two new T-shirts from Isaac Morris and Skip Hop’s Little Kid Backpack and Straw Bottle.
