The first day of Brand Licensing Europe concluded with a keynote panel with Team GB’s Tim Ellerton, The Point.1888’s Will Stewart and Olympic gold medallists, Tom Daley and Charlotte Worthington. 

Hosted by Anna Knight, vice president, licensing, Informa Markets, the BLE keynote started with the journey to the Tokyo Olympic Games for Daley and Worthington. 

“Team GB has been fantastic from the get-go,” says Daley. “The great thing about Team GB is that they help you prepare. It’s all the little steps and all the extra things that help.”

With Daley, Worthington and Team GB gathering so much support, the brand of British Olympic talent had a path of its own. 

“This brand is about heroes at a time when we need heroes,” says Stewart, managing director, The Point.1888.

With eyes now on Paris 2024 and the rapidly expanding Team GB brand and its community, Team GB is readying for a more active future.
