Haylett Entertainment has announced that it will be hosting a virtual booth at the 2021 Virtual Licensing Expo for its animated holiday special, “Piney: The Lonesome Pine,” highlighting their Piney brand.

Author and co-founder of Haylett Entertainment, Jane West-Bakerink, wrote and self-published the children’s book, “The Lonesome Pine.” West-Bakerink has now adapted the book as a seasonal special, as writer of the screenplay and executive producer alongside her Haylett Entertainment co-founder and executive producer, Jay Bakerink.

“I truly believe that each and every one of us is unique and special and we just need to know and believe that,” says Jane Bakerink. “As I say at the end of all my readings, ‘May you always remember how special you are!’ Whether you’re 2 or 102, I really hope that ‘Piney: The Lonesome Pine’ will make a difference in this world.”

The animation premiered in December of 2020 in the U.S. on Disney Junior, the Disney Channel and the DisneyNow app. “Piney” is currently

licensed to air in 66 countries.

“Fans of ‘Piney’ are calling it the next Christmas classic,” says Jay Bakerink. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to present our Piney brand to the sustainable consumer products licensing world.”
