Global Trademark Licensing Signs Scania

BLE 2021: Transport solutions and global truck, bus and lorry brand Scania has appointed U.K. agency Global Trademark Licensing as worldwide representatives.

Following the appointment of Global Trademark Licensing (GTL), Scania has already entered its first licensing agreements with WSI Models, Tekno, Mattel and Herpa for cross-category growth across toys, collectibles and lifestyle consumer products.

“Scania is recognized globally for its continuous innovation, customer-first approach and commitment to building a more sustainable future for the transport industry,” says Lindsay Weaver, director, special projects, Global Trademark Licensing. “This impressive reputation gives the brand strong licensing potential across a number of key categories, as demonstrated by the fantastic line-up of partners we’ve seen come on board in a short space of time. We’re looking forward to building upon this initial success and to sharing more about our plans for this fantastic brand with existing and potential partners at BLE and beyond.”

Scania is spearheading several new initiatives that include both licensing and sustainable transport systems, operating in over 100 countries and delivering thousands of trucks, buses and lorries each year. GTL is exhibiting at Brand Licensing Europe 2021 (stand B203) to represent Scania, Lotus Cars, McLaren Racing, McLaren Automotive, Mercedes-Benz, Pagani, Jaguar Cars and Land Rover.
