Meetings at Brand Licensing Europe 2023

As organizers confirm 176 exhibiting companies, Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) has launched its Event Planner, designed to enhance visitors' experience at this year's event, which takes place from Sept. 24-26 September at ExCeL London.

From today, this powerful tool will be automatically accessible to all registered attendees, providing a comprehensive resource center to help them navigate the show and prepare for their visit.

The online Event Planner transforms the traditional event experience, enabling visitors to start their plans before arriving at BLE. Attendees can now explore which brands will be present, request meetings with the exhibitors who represent them and plan show itineraries to maximize their ROI.

Key benefits of the Brand Licensing Europe Event Planner

  • Brand directory search: Understand the ownership of various brands and ensure attendees connect with the right people. Discover key contacts for brands like AC/DC, BMW, Keith Haring, Miffy and thousands more

  • Licensing partnership opportunities: Arrange meetings with hundreds of brand owners to explore and secure new licensing partnerships

  • Schedule planning: Add sessions to personal calendars and catch up on anything that has been missed with on-demand content available after the show

“We had such positive feedback from retailers who used the platform last year,” says Laura Freedman-Dagg, head of retail, Brand Licensing Europe. “In addition to making the visitor experience efficient and convenient, a huge benefit is the discovery aspect. Attendees found IP they may never have previously considered while browsing for those they already wanted to meet with. That, coupled with the fact they can arrive with meetings already planned in, is a game changer for a time-strapped retailer.”

Thousands of exhibitors representing a broad spectrum of categories are already on the platform including BBC Studios, Warner Brothers, Netflix, Acamar Films, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Blue Zoo Productions, Mattel, Moonbug Entertainment, Boat Rocker, Natural History Museum, Paramount, Rocket Licensing and more.

Brands represented on the show floor include Pokémon, Viz, Panini, FC Barcelona, The Wombles, The Smurfs, Chelsea FC, Asterix, Sonic the Hedgehog, Guiness World Records, Spin Master and more. The Brand Directory will help attendees to understand who owns the rights to each brand, and who to meet with during the event.

“Our Event Planner ensures that every visitor can make the most of their participation, fostering meaningful connections and productive engagements,” says Ella Haynes, event director, Brand Licensing Europe. “I strongly encourage visitors to make the most of the tool and get a head start on filling their meetings calendars before some European countries partly close for business in August. We all know just how busy calendars get once September hits and I’d hate for anyone to miss out.”
