Touted as a true homecoming for the licensing industry, November’s Brand Licensing Europe event in London brought 2,669 meetings back to the table and renewed excitement for the consumer product deals and brand debuts ahead.

With numerous themes explored, mainly the show’s core focus of “What’s Next,” BLE covered the major trends in retail, sustainability, upcoming brands and brought exhibitors from across entertainment, sports, animation, kids, toys, games, fashion, design, art and more to London ExCeL for the first time since 2019.

Now, BLE Virtual (Nov. 30 - Dec. 1) is offering a digital follow-up edition that expands on the insights and global connectivity of the in-person event.

We’ve highlighted some of the key reasons to log in to BLE Virtual this week.

Content and Conversation

The expanded edition of Brand Licensing Europe will bring a range of exclusive online-only content to virtual attendees, including “D&I In Conversation” sessions with ViacomCBS, “Brands for Social Change” with Products of Change and essentials courses from Licensing U across 14 presentations.

For those who didn’t make the in-person event, BLE Virtual will also have all sessions from the Retail Trends Lounge, access to the Team GB Keynote, content from License Global Live and scores of on-demand sessions covering the major trends in licensing and leadership.

Following the online event, on-demand content will be made available on the Brand Licensing Europe digital platform until Feb. 28

The BLE Digital Platform

To make the process of finding the right meetings, discovering new brands and making the most of each delegate’s time, the Brand Licensing Europe digital platform allows users to browse each online exhibitor by booth.

Much like an in-person event, brands such as Aardman Animations, Bandai Namco Europe, Discovery, Difuzed, England Football and many more will have virtual booths in which attendees can visit, explore products and intellectual property and book ad-hoc meetings online.

During registration, the platform will also provide a personal schedule, recommended contacts based on visitors’ interests and the ability to fill each day with networking, insights and more.

Unlocked Networking

BLE Virtual offers registered attendees the chance to follow up with colleagues and contacts following the in-person event and connect with over 50 online-only exhibitors. The event runs from Tuesday, Nov. 30 to Wednesday, Dec. 1, to provide online delegates two full days of meetings with some of the biggest brand owners, licensees, manufacturers, agents and retailers in the business.

The Brands

Exhibitors from BLE in-person and major brands from across categories such as entertainment, art, heritage, sports, gaming, publishing, fashion and food will be exhibiting at Brand Licensing Europe virtual in digital booths.

Magic Light Pictures, Manchester City Football Club, Mattel, Moomin, NBCUniversal, Olympique de Marseille, WWE, Penguin Publishing, IMG, SEGA, The Pokémon Company International, The Smiley Company, Games Workshop, V&A and ViacomCBS are just a few of the names on display at BLE Virtual, with a raft of new product innovations and launches ready to share.
