'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' Inks Anniversary Deals

Walker Books has announced a series of new deals in celebration of the 30th anniversary of children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

The book series by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury will be celebrated by a raft of deals that will bring the bear hunt to life in spring/summer 2019.

Partners include Jainco, which has teamed for babywear in the U.K. and U.S.

Wundur will produce wall stickers, and Gemma International has signed on as a greetings card partner.

Other notable partners include Paul Lamond (puzzle and games), Aurora (plush toys), Cooneen by Design (nightwear), Paul Dennicci (babywear), Universal DVD (animated DVD) and Sony Music (original soundtrack).

Beginning in March, young diners at Giraffe restaurants will be given a We’re Going on a Bear Hunt activity sheet with puzzles and competition.

In April, families who visit Forest Holidays cabins will be able to participate in a We’re Going on a Bear Hunt nature trail challenge, with activity sheets will be placed in all cabins.

Muddy Puddles will include activity sheets in outdoor adventures packages through April as well as collaborate via its social channels and blogs.

In the summer, 75 activity farms will feature We’re Going on a Bear Hunt activity pads and posters and will invite families to go on a bear hunt. Five farms will hold book-based events.
