Cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty has promoted Kecia Steelman, Monica Arnaudo, Shelley Haus and Prama Bhatt to executive positions within the company.

The deal comes as part of a strategic reshuffling within the executive team that is part of an overall long-term growth plan. Ulta’s promotions are highlighted by moves for:

  • Steelman to serve in an expanded role, taking on responsibility for Ulta international growth, as Chief Store Operations Officer & President, International;

  • Arnaudo to serve as Chief Merchandising Officer who will lead merchandising and assortment strategy;

  • Haus to Chief Marketing Officer where she will lead all brand building and consumer initiatives; and

  • Bhatt to Chief Digital Officer where they will oversee digital, including digital innovation, and e-commerce.

“Ulta Beauty’s continued success is fueled by a strong leadership team, a winning culture and organizational design that aligns to our strategy and most effectively serves our guests and our associates,” says Mary Dillon, chief executive officer, Ulta Beauty. “I am proud to elevate these leaders who have played a pivotal role scaling our business for growth and achieving our vision.”

The reshuffle also sees Dave Kimbell continue to serve as president of Ulta Beauty overseeing merchandising, marketing, digital functions and the corporate strategy team.

“Our ability to promote from within underscores the incredible talent and passion our team has for growing our business and leading through our values,” says Kimbell. “With this world-class leadership team, Ulta Beauty will continue to deliver an unrivaled in-store experience and merchandising assortment, drive our digital innovation and engagement, and continue to establish ourselves as a powerful and meaningful brand.”
