Seltzer Takes Barbasol, Pure Silk into New Categories

Evergreen Consumer Brands and Xtreme Personal Care will release a variety of health and beauty products as well as electronic grooming accessories for the shave brands.

NORTH AMERICA–Perio has teamed up with Evergreen Consumer Brands and Xtreme Personal Care, a division of Jem Accessories, to develop ancillary products for the Barbasol and Pure Silk shave brands.

Seltzer Licensing Group, Perio’s exclusive global licensing agency, brokered the deal.

First, Evergreen Consumer Brands has signed on to extend both brands into an expanded portfolio of health and beauty products including body wash, lotion and hair care products.

Meanwhile, Xtreme Personal Care will develop a collection of men’s and women’s electric grooming accessories. The initial range will include electric rotary and foil shavers as well as beard, hair and nose trimmers under the Barbasol brand. It will also include micro trimmers, foil shavers and electronic grooming products under the Pure Silk brand.
