Brandgenuity brokers deal to bring sun care brand to womenswear.

Edgewell Personal Care has partnered with the Fred David International Group to develop a fashion line for its sun care brand Hawaiian Tropic.

The agreement was brokered by Edgewell’s exclusive licensing agency, Brandgenuity.

The Hawaiian Tropic 2016 apparel collection will feature ready-to-wear styles reminiscent of the brand’s sunny aesthetic. The tropical-inspired range will incorporate colorful prints and lightweight fabrics on a range of women's cover-ups, rompers and separates.

The apparel collection will launch in November under the Fred David International Group and will be expanded in 2016 to include athleisure and resortwear offerings.

“Our vision for the next five years is to grow the apparel line into an iconic brand akin to the brand’s sun care range,” says Andy Kirstein, chief executive officer and president, Fred David.
