Beanstalk Expands Fashion Brand

Beanstalk has inked a number of new deals for British fashion designer Matthew Williamson to extend his brand into additional fashion and lifestyle categories including footwear, handbags and interiors.

British fashion accessories company, TLG Brands, will design a full lifestyle offering of women’s handbags, debuting at premium retail in fall/winter 2013. The range will include casual, career and evening designs.

The brand is also working with premium footwear manufacturer, GMI Corp USA, to develop a range of women’s footwear. The initial collection was recently previewed at the official Matthew Williamson catwalk show during London Fashion Week and will launch at retail in spring/summer 2013.

Finally, Osborne & Little have signed on to create a range of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers, scheduled to launch in fall/winter 2013.

“We have naturally evolved into a lifestyle brand over the years, and the time feels right to add relevant strands to our fashion core,” says Joseph Velosa, chief executive officer, Matthew Williamson. “We have three stand-alone stores and two franchise partners, and they particularly wanted accessories to be part of the mix, so we have a full offering.”
