Shared common histories power the TAG Heuer x Porsche partnership. In 2019, Porsche created its Formula E team with TAG Heuer as title and timing partner. Now, the relationship has transformed into an official brand partnership.
"The strong friendship of our brand with TAG Heuer exists for decades and I am more than happy that we are now taking the next steps in the frame of a strategic partnership," says Detlev von Platen, executive board member, sales and marketing, Porsche.
This special-edition TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph watch is a tribute to the two heritage brands. Porsche's engraved epigraph is visible on the bezel, with the font used for the indexes. Porsche's signature colors of red, black and grey are the watch's chief compositions and the Cristal case back is the design of Porsche-steering-wheel oscillating mass. The dial has an asphalt effect, created especially for the timepiece.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph is presented either on an embossed, hand-stitched black calf leather strap or a steel H-shaped interlocking bracelet. The black watch box features TAG Heuer and Porsche's logos in white, while the interior box is a black travel pouch with a Porsche red interior.
