The gear aims to demonstrate the team’s commitment to the principles and practice of diversity and inclusion.
“We have been supporting the initiative of Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team from the very beginning,” says James Clark, sports marketing head, motorsports and operations, PUMA. “PUMA is happy that we have been able to fulfill their request for black race gear directly from the start of the season.”
The gear includes a race suit, underwear, glove and balaclava. The gloves show #reform on the right hand, PUMA’s statement against racism and criminal justice.
