Pretty Green is on board to celebrate the emoticon brand’s 45th anniversary.

The Smiley Company and Pretty Green have joined forces to create a line of apparel that pays homage to the U.K.’s music festival scene.

The new, limited edition collection will highlight Smiley’s black and yellow color palette and iconic imagery, as well as Pretty Green’s paisley pattern, on apparel items such as tees, polos, nylon kagools and a mid-length trademark parka.

The partnership will also join a raft of collaborations celebrating Smiley’s 45th anniversary this year.

“This is a great collaboration to celebrate our 45th anniversary,” says Nicolas Loufrani, chief executive officer, Smiley. “Showcasing Smiley’s deep roots in music and the festival scene, whilst creating yet another amazing upscale fashion collaboration, which continues to be so central to the evolution of our apparel program. Smiley continues to bridge the gap between fashion and music worlds.”

The collaboration will launch through selected Pretty Green distribution channels in the U.K. this month.
