Smiley has added four new licensees in the U.S. for childrenswear.

The new additions include a partnership with kids' fashion house Evy of California, Komar for kids' sleepwear; PPI for sleepwear and activewear and Cudlie for backpacks. 

Product from these new licensees will hit shelves in fall 2015.

Additionally, Fabric Traditions, a producer of printed fabrics for the home sewing industry, and Hybrid Apparel, an manufacturer of junior's and young men’s apparel, have also begun developing Smiley collections.

Existing licensee in the country include Trends International for posters and stickers, Commonwealth Toys & Novelty for plush, PersonalizationMall.com for seasonal gifts and Ata-Boy for badges and merchandise.

Earlier this year Smiley also signed with Card Corp to design a range of pre-paid visa cards, available exclusively on Card.com Just Funky will launch a cool range of novelty gifts later this year.

Smiley is represented in the U.S. by Susanne Kernan and Robin Nureck, co-founders of the New York-based global agency SNR.
