Sanrio Partners for Day of Giving

Sanrio has teamed up with The Humane Society of the United States to offer limited edition tote bags for National Day of Giving, Nov. 29.

Collaboration will offer tote bags, in-store events and more to benefit animals in need.

The limited edition tote bags will feature two of the company’s characters–Pompompurin and Chococat. A portion of each sale will go to The Humane Society to benefit animals in need. The tote bags will be available, beginning Nov. 29, at select Sanrio stores, online and at Sanrio.com, as well as at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies retail locations throughout the Los Angeles area.

In addition to the tote bags, the Hello Kitty Café has created two special edition Chococat and Pompompurin cookies for the collaboration. Available exclusively at the Hello Kitty Café Pop-Up Container in Irvine, Calif., the cookies will be available on the National Day of Giving through Jan. 31, 2017. Part of the cookie sales will also benefit The Humane Society.

Furthermore, Sanrio, The Humane Society and Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Redondo Beach, Calif., will host an all-day

in-store event, Dec. 3, with activities, photo opportunities and meet-and-greets with Chococat and Pompompurin.

Also known as #GivingTuesday, the National Day of Giving takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is a global day of giving back.
