The Royal Mail has issued a bespoke stamp sheet featuring FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment's "Danger Mouse."

The sheet coincides with launch of the new "Danger Mouse" series on CBBC Monday, exactly 34 years after its original television debut.

The sheet includes images of key characters and scenes from the original 1980’s series alongside 10 existing First Class Union Flag postage stamps, in a special folder.

Other characters appearing on the sheet alongside Danger Mouse are his sidekick Penfold, the head of the British Secret Service Colonel K and arch-villain Baron Greenback.

Danger Mouse’s headquarters is located in a postbox in Central London, which appears both on the sheet and folder, and Penfold derived his name from the Penfold postbox, which celebrates its 150th anniversary next year.

“With postboxes playing such a vital role in Danger Mouse' and Penfold’s international spying careers, we are thrilled that fans can celebrate their return with this dedicated stamp sheet,” says Tracy Griffiths, vice president, licensing and consumer products, EMEA and Australia, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
