Pinterest, a website and mobile app that is considered a “catalogue of ideas,” has teamed up with the specialty retailer Michaels to launch a line of co-branded DIY kits.

Each DIY kit, called Make It Kits, will include all the necessary supplies to help consumers create the top trending projects on Pinterest. Furthermore, the first kit in the series, Make It Kit: “Shibori for Your Home,” will feature a Shibori style dyeing project and will include Paper Pin cards with step-by-step instructions, tea towels, dye and materials for three different dyeing techniques.

The first co-branded Make It Kit will be available this Friday exclusively at Michaels and Michaels.com.

“People come to Pinterest looking for new ideas to try in their daily lives, and we are thrilled to see that Michaels is transforming popular Pinterest trends into projects to help people turn inspiration to action,” says Alastair Cotterill, global head, The Studio, Pinterest. “Partners like Michaels are an important part of fulfilling our mission to help people discover and do what they love.”

Pinterest has logged more than 1.7 billion home décor pins and more than 27 million people have saved home décor content, according to the company. Furthermore, shibori style dye searches have increased 56 percent in the past year, with Pinners saving 2.6 million ideas in 2016.
