MGL to Rep Art Marketing

MGL Licensing has signed on represent Art Marketing's portfolio of art brands and finalized new deals for Tan-Tan and Dan Fenelon.

In a new strategic alliance, MGL will promote Art Marketing's in-house artists for licensing.

"We are absolutely thrilled to place our art portfolio in the hands of specialist licensing firm MGL Licensing in a new and exclusive deal," says Darren Runnette, sales director, Art Marketing. "We have had notable success in ad-hoc licensing deals ourselves over the past few years in the gift and home furnishing markets, but this is not our core business and we are not optimizing it. MGL have the contacts, trade show experience and infrastructure to considerably ramp up our licensing revenues, and we are very excited with this new venture."

In other news, MGL has brought in a new partner for the Tan-Tan art brand; Chilean stationery manufacturer Proarte will be the first Latin American licensee for the brand with a range of notebooks and diaries. MGL is now actively

seeking for partners for the property in others areas including stationery, gifting, apparel and bedding.

Finally, the agency has launched pop artist Dan Fenelon's Wavedog brand for licensing. The brand, which features a combination of street art and tribal motifs, is now available for stationery, apparel, sports and gifting.

Fenelon's work is currently being featured in a solo exhibition at the Port Authority bus Terminal in New York City.
