Licensing agency is on board to expand the art brand into categories such as apparel, stationery and more.

Fashion illustrator and social media influencer Rongrong DeVoe has tapped Jewel Branding to extend her brand and art through licensing.

The agency will now aim to expand the art brand into categories including apparel, fashion accessories, cosmetics, stationery, calendars, greeting cards, gift, tabletop, home textiles, wall décor and luggage.

“Rongrong is an incredibly talented artist with all the key ingredients for a successful licensing program,” says Ilana Wilensky, vice president, Jewel Branding. “There is a major resurgence in fashion illustration right now and coupled with Rongrong’s significant social media following, she is perfectly positioned to grow her brand worldwide.

Originally from Qingdao, China, DeVoe worked as a concept artist in Shanghai until 2009 when she moved to New York City to pursue her Masters in illustration. Her fashion illustrations have been featured in Vogue, InStyle and Buzzfeed with a client roster including Chanel, Neiman Marcus, Armani and Maybelline.

“I am very excited to be working with Jewel Branding to further extend my brand and illustrations into a wide variety of consumer products,” says DeVoe. “I am frequently contacted by my fans about where they can buy products with my designs and felt it was right time to pursue licensing.”
