
U.K.-based art brand inks first merchandising deal with BrownTrout Publishers.

JELC, the brand’s exclusive worldwide licensing agent, brokered the deal.
The upcoming collection of 2018 calendars will highlight the brand’s bird-themed designs, which were produced by I Like Birds founder Stuart Cox. The line will also serve as the brand’s first range of licensed products.
“We started out with a great idea and modest resources, but were always convinced that I Like Birds had the originality and commercial potential to build on its existing market,” says Cox. “We are thrilled that BrownTrout and JELC feel the same way and are delighted to be working with them.”
The I Like Birds-themed calendars will be available from major retailers and online at Calendars.com beginning in Q3 2017.
