U.S. grocer Whole Foods Market and The World of Eric Carle have partnered for a series of 365 Everyday Value cereal boxes featuring games for children and Carle’s signature artwork including The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The Joester Loria Group, worldwide licensing agent for The World of Eric Carle, brokered the deal.

“Eric Carle’s work inspires intellectual and creative growth for children,” says Brianna Blanton, brand manager, private label brands, Whole Foods Market. “We hope our shoppers enjoy seeing his artwork on our shelves as much as their little ones do.”

Beginning this month, Carle’s artwork and characters will be featured on the packaging of nine varieties of 365 Everyday Value children’s cereals, including three new products: Little Cubbies, Rainbow Morning O’s and Organic Honey & Nut Morning O’s.

“We are proud to partner with Whole Foods Market, a company that shares The World of Eric Carle’s commitment to the highest quality standards,” says Debra Joester, president, The Joester Loria Group. “We are particularly delighted that millions of families will have the opportunity to engage with wonderful games, art and content featuring Eric Carle’s work, at their breakfast table every morning.”
