Deer Little Forest has partnered with mobile content developer Playrific to create digital assets for the art property, which is also being developed into a TV series.
The deal signals the first foray into the U.S. market for the preschool brand, created by Jo Rose.
Playrific will produce a standalone app for iOS and Android devices that will include e-books, puzzles, coloring, activities, games and more. The app is set to launch this summer.
