Kent was an artist known for her approach to design and education, with her work reflecting concerns regarding poverty, racism and war and messages of peace and social justice.
“Corita was about finding joy in the everyday,” says Ray Smith, director, Corita Art Center. “She was really influenced by the environment that was around her, whether it was a religious environment or pop culture environment. Corita felt like her job was to deliver these messages about spirituality.
Uniqlo’s latest collection is now available at its flagship location on 5th Ave. in New York City as well as online.
