Landmark will introduce the brand to the market at Licensing Expo Japan later this month.

Purple Ronnie aims to deliver observational humor with a light-hearted touch through a variety of doodles. In its 30-year history, the brand has sold 2.5 million books and more than 65 million greeting cards and has secured sales of more than £100 million in the U.K. The brand also has a strong online presence with a series of animated shorts on its YouTube channel as well as weekly topical “doodles” for social media.
“Purple Ronnie is an iconic property and we are delighted to be working with Landmark on the brand’s Japanese licensing, following our successful partnership with ‘Poppy Cat’ in the same territory,” says Valerie Fry, director, licensing, Coolabi.
Landmark will debut the Purple Ronnie brand to the market at Licensing Expo Japan, April 26-28, at Tokyo Big Sight.
