Jewel Branding and Licensing has appointed U.K. agency Start Licensing to represent the design brand Bouffants and Broken Hearts across Europe, excluding France.

U.K. licensing agency will expand the design brand into new territories.

Jewel Branding and Licensing has appointed U.K. agency Start Licensing to represent the design brand Bouffants and Broken Hearts across Europe, excluding France.

The brand, founded by artist Kendra Dandy in 2012, is currently available across a slew of products including cosmetics, apparel, accessories, footwear, home décor and stationery. Start Licensing will aim to add to this roster with gifting, apparel and accessories, among others.

Bouffants and Broken Hearts has also collaborated with a number of companies including Anthropologie, Keds, teNeues, Urban Outfitters and Bobbi Brown.

“I first saw Kendra’s designs at Las Vegas’ Licensing Expo and was very impressed by them. It struck me that they would appeal to the European market. They are fresh, original and contemporary. Given the track record of success the brand has already had, we are looking forward to talking to companies about Bouffants and Broken Hearts,” says Ian Downes, managing director, Start Licensing. “I can see retailers being interested in this collection as it provides them with an opportunity to develop exclusive ranges; however, I think brands in categories such as gifting, apparel and accessories will find gifts appealing. We are looking forward to working with Kendra and the Jewel Branding team on this exciting design collection.”

Start Licensing will showcase Bouffants and Broken Hearts at Brand Licensing Europe, Oct. 11-13, at London’s Olympia exhibition hall.
